At the circus!

Last Saturday Cooper got to go to his first circus--Aleppo's Shriner's Circus in Wilmington, MA.  I think he had a really good time even though he was a little overwhelmed at first.  It may have had to do with the strange looking clowns or the unusual animals. (He's accustomed to dogs and cats but not tigers, elephants and ponies.)
Below are some snapshots of his day:

Lots to see!

Fun Birthday Party!

Cooper attended the Boeh's kids birthday party at My Gym this weekend. He had a lot of fun including the kiddie zipline (see below). They never had stuff like this when I was a kid.

Weekend Errands

Cooper was a pretty good trooper this weekend. He patiently spent hours in the car traveling to see friends in NH as well as coming along for some errands further north to North Conway.

Floridian Fun

Cooper had a great time in Florida this past long weekend. Luckily the flights were on time and Cooper was fairly chill over the course of both 3 hr flights.

I think Cooper's got the basketball gene

Today Cooper attended Bridget's Monday night basketball game. The team certainly loved seeing him but Cooper could have care less. He spent the entire time focusing on the previous game where school kids were playing pee wee basketball. If the ball went left...Cooper's head shifted left. If it went right...his head shifted right with laser precision. At one point Bridget got in the way while she was stretching and Cooper arched his body around her so that he could continue watching the kids play. Cooper's got the basketball bug.

After the game was over, Cooper ran over and grabbed a basketball from the bench and started carrying it around the court. See for yourself...I never laughed so hard!

Busy weekend!

Yesterday was Cooper's birthday. He had a fun day of eating cupcakes and visiting with his grandparents. At the end of the day I told him that the U.S. celebrates his birthday by giving all the little kids candy at night if they dress up. He decided to see if I was telling the truth. :-)

Zoo stroll

Cooper strolling through the zoo on a nice Sunday afternoon. He's definitely walking on his own now but Bridget decided to keep Cooper in check since he was previously rolling on the ground.
